Pricing & Service Fees Policy

At PortYol, our mission is to simplify international trade by connecting global buyers with verified manufacturers and suppliers in Turkey. To ensure transparency and trust, this Pricing Policy explains how and when service fees may apply.

1. General Principle

PortYol operates as a trade facilitation and sourcing intermediary. We do not act as a seller, exporter of record, or buyer of goods. Our fees reflect the value of services provided, such as:

  • Supplier verification
  • Buyer-supplier matching
  • Communication facilitation
  • Sourcing request handling
  • Trade coordination support

Fees apply only when value is delivered, and in most cases only upon successful transaction completion.

2. No Fees for Browsing or Registration

  • Creating an account on PortYol is free.
  • Browsing suppliers, company profiles, and product listings is free.
  • Submitting general inquiries may be free, depending on scope.
There are no hidden subscription fees for basic platform use.

3. Supplier-Side Service Fees

In certain cases, PortYol may charge suppliers a service facilitation fee for transactions introduced or coordinated through the platform.

  • Typical Range:
    5% – 8% of the transaction value

Applies when:

  • PortYol introduces the buyer to the supplier
  • PortYol facilitates communication or negotiation
  • PortYol supports the sourcing or order process

Fees are:

  • Agreed in advance
  • Charged only if a deal is successfully completed
  • Based on the scope and complexity of the transaction

4. Buyer-Side Service Fees (When Applicable)

In some cases, buyers may be charged a buyer service fee, particularly for advanced or custom sourcing services.

This may apply to:

  • Custom manufacturing requests
  • Multiple supplier sourcing
  • Complex product specifications
  • Large-volume or urgent orders

Typical Range:

  • 2% – 5%
  • or
  • A fixed sourcing service fee, agreed in advance

Buyers are always informed beforehand if any fee applies.

5. Tiered Fee Structure (Indicative)

For transparency, service fees may be adjusted based on order value:

6. What PortYol Does Not Charge For

PortYol does not charge:

  • Listing fees (unless explicitly stated)
  • Marketing commissions without consent
  • Fees for independent supplier-buyer deals not facilitated by PortYol
  • Fees without prior disclosure and agreement

7. Transparency & Agreement

Before any fee is applied:

  • The fee structure is clearly explained
  • The responsible party (buyer or supplier) is identified
  • Written or digital agreement is obtained

There are no surprise charges.

8. Payments & Invoicing

  • Fees may be invoiced separately or included as part of the service agreement
  • Payment terms depend on the transaction structure
  • All payments comply with applicable laws and regulations

9. Changes to This Pricing Policy

PortYol reserves the right to update this Pricing Policy as the platform evolves. Any changes will be published on this page and apply prospectively only.
