3. Buyer & Supplier Responsibilities in Direct Communication

Buyers are responsible for conducting their own due diligence on suppliers and products, negotiating and agreeing to terms of sale directly with suppliers, and complying with all applicable import laws and regulations. Suppliers are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information about their company and products, fulfilling orders in a timely and professional manner, and complying with all applicable export laws and regulations.

5. Liability Limitations
PortYol’s liability is limited based on the service used. When you use our direct communication service, PortYol acts as a facilitator and is not a party to any transaction between buyers and suppliers. In this context, we do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of products listed on our platform and are not responsible for any disputes that may arise. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
When you use our Sourcing Request service, our liability is extended to the responsibilities outlined in Section 4 of these Terms & Conditions, and our liability is limited to the value of the transaction facilitated through the Sourcing Request service.
6. Pricing and Service Fees
Certain services on the PortYol platform may be subject to fees. These fees, including any applicable “Service fee,” “Sourcing facilitation fee,” or “Trade coordination fee,” are outlined in our Pricing & Service Fees Policy. By using our services, you agree to the terms of our Pricing & Service Fees Policy.
7. Dispute Handling
In the event of a dispute, the handling process depends on the service used. For disputes arising from direct communication, we encourage both parties to communicate directly to find a resolution. We may, at our discretion, provide assistance in mediating the dispute, but we are not obligated to do so. For disputes arising from transactions facilitated by our Sourcing Request service, PortYol will actively mediate the dispute as outlined in Section 4. Any legal disputes that cannot be resolved through mediation shall be resolved in the courts of Turkey.
